We follow Jesus in faith, prayer, & service.
Parishioners, family and friends braved the weather to join in our Ladies Annual Advent Tea this past Sunday. The day focused on the message of peace; looking for the peace in all aspects of our lives, even through suffering. Fr. David Bline, spiritual director of St. Mary's Seminary, was our guest speaker and shared many personal anecdotes that resonated with all of us. We have hope and peace in knowing that Jesus is coming again, that our baptism and faith reassures us in times of trial.
The ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch thanks to our "Handsome Servers." Louise Formica and her team did a wonderful job with this event and everyone went home with a tea cup candle that were blessed to light and keep the flame of peace and hope alive this Advent.
The Ladies gave back to the community by bringing hats, scarves and coats for ONEHopeNEO. There is still time to donate if you would like to help. The bins will be available in the gallery through this weekend.
Thank you to all who participated!
