New Women's Fellowship Group Begins at St. Justin Martyr

There was a full house for our new Women's Fellowship Group which began on February 24 at St. Justin Martyr.  Margie Drew and Sandi Shell have come together to bring the ladies of the parish in prayer and fellowship with the theme "Getting to Know Mary Better."   The meeting began with the recitation of the rosary and was followed by presentations on Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Grace and Our Lady of Mercy.  

Ladies from St. Justin Martyr and St. Mary Magdalene attended to learn and to share their faith.  There was discussion as all reviewed these different apparitions of Mary.  Many of the attendees were on pilgrimage to Fatima last year and shared photos of the bullet that is placed into the crown of Our Lady of Fatima which from the assassination attempt of Pope John Paul II.  

The evening ended with a new Chaplet that was introduced to Our Lady of Mercy. (Chaplet of Our Lady of Mercy)  All are welcome to join in our meetings which will be held on the Fourth Monday of the Month (except May and July) at 6:30pm in the Church Meeting Room. Each month we will learn about some new Marian Devotions as well as pray the rosary.
